The ZLGU is the governing body for ladies’ golf in Zimbabwe, responsible for promoting and developing the sport across the country.

The charity event aims to raise funds to support the growth, development and travel expenses of ladies’ golf in Zimbabwe, and providing opportunities for them to develop their skills and compete at a high level.
“Most of the funds raised will be used for junior golf development of the girl child to support their travel expenses to different tournament countrywide. With growing interest in the sport from the girls from underprivileged, we find that our resources stretched,” ZLGU President Olivia Nyamwanza said.
“We invite everyone to join us for a memorable day on the green where every swing count towards a brighter future for our young girls to excel in the sport and giving back to our needy communities,” Nyamwanza added.
The event entry fee is $50 per person and $200 per team.
