
Diversified investment holding company ZimRe Holdings Limited (ZHL) say they are in high spirits partnering FBC Holdings in bankrolling the 2025 FBC Zim Open as associate sponsors for the second year running.
Before they became associate sponsors last year ZHL were already part of the country's flagship golf event as anchor sponsors in the previous years.
And this year ZHL retain their status as associate sponsors for the tournament which is scheduled to take place from May 4 - 11 at Royal Harare Golf Club.
"We continue to be in good spirits, working hand-in-glove with FBC Holdings in supporting this prestigious tournament. For us whatever was our speech and statement last year, we are looking to support youth. We are looking to support talent. And we're looking for a home-grown solutions or way as a contribution, to attending to our own individual wellness as golfers and sport lovers by creating such an event that we look forward to every year," ZHL chief operations officer Chakanyuka Nziradzemhuka said.
"And once again please support the special cause for which the tournament is also setting out for, in terms of the cancer treatment in initiatives. It is one of those things that causes sadness and loss to many families in Zimbabwe.
"We believe that this support together again with FBC Holdings is a platform for us as corporates, to identify with all our key stakeholders who are the clients out there. Let us all aspire to make a contribution to good health and the economic productivity of the country," he added.
ZHL are no stranger to sponsoring sporting events in the country and have been involved in other sport genres in the past.
Their subsidiary Fidelity Life Assurance partnered the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League in Zimbabwe while they have also supported other sports such as angling that is a Tiger Fishing Tournament as a group.

The organisation has also taken into Triathlon and Mountain Hiking where they have supported a team of locals to Mt Kilimanjaro including in 2022 and they conquered the mountain.
