A 29-YEAR-OLD woman from Zengeza in Chitungwiza is behind bars in connection with an armed robbery case involving US$238 000 which occurred early this year.
The suspect, Kelly Chinaka, was remanded in custody by Harare magistrate Marehwanazvo Goga to allow the State to merge her docket with that of her co-accomplices who are behind bars.
State prosecutor, Tendai Tapi, said Chinaka connived with Kennedy Mbundire, Owen Mutera, Tedious Desmond Munyaradzi Mhungira and three others who were still at large to rob the complainant of about US$238 000 after threatening to shoot guards.
Only US$6 500 has been recovered.
