A till operator at Bezbets Betting company in Harare appeared in court Monday charged with stealing US$107 806 from his employer.
Sean Chisaka (21) was granted US$100 bail and remanded to June 7 by magistrate Taurai Manuwere. Prosecutor Anesu Chirenje told the court that on April 27, 2024, at around 18.26hrs, Chisaka who was in charge of receipting all betting transactions at a Bezbets branch along Mbuya Nehanda in the central business district, converted US$107 806 to own use.Betting firm loses US$107K to employee
