BEITBRIDGE Expo will this evening host the Beitbridge Corporate And People's Choice Awards.
The expo, a brainchild of Annah Muleya and a team of influential people from a cross-section of the border town's society, has partnered the Beitbridge Municipality in organising the event.
Organisers will present certificates to businesses that have exhibited growth since the last event and honour individuals who have positively impacted on many in the border town.
The event to be hosted at the Zebra Hilltop Lodge, will also recognise lifetime achievers - people who have selflessly served the Beitbridge Community.
Recipients of awards were voted for in an electronic survey.
Zimborders Consortium Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Francois Diedrechsen, will be the guest of honour.
The inaugural awards held in March 2023 recognised, amongst several other recipients, Henson Magumise, a man who in the last 47 years has not missed a morning to visit and share quality moments with the sick admitted at the 140-bed Beitbridge Hospital.
