The second edition of the Ignite Youth No Limits Camp, organised by Ignite Youth Organisation (IYO), a local youth-focused non-profit establishment, concluded successfully at the Pamuhacha Resort in Goromonzi.
For over four days from September 28 to October 1, the camp provided a platform for 25 young participants to engage with influential speakers, take part in various activities and receive valuable mentorship.
The camp commenced with an energetic Zumba workout, setting a lively tone for the days to come. Participants were not only encouraged to embrace physical fitness, but also to address mental health topics, including career choices, relationships and self-care. These discussions allowed campers to share their experiences and collaborate on strategies for overcoming challenges.
Tadzie Madzima, the founder and director of IYO, guided campers through a session themed Living Your Legacy where participants were tasked with crafting their visions and breaking them down into attainable short-term goals and then making a presentation.
The camp attracted notable guest speakers, including Chris Melia, CEO of Chris Melia International (CMI), a technology and consultancy company that provides innovative technology strategies and expert advisory services.
In a question-and-answer session, local hip-hop artist Voltz JT also offered insights into his life as an artist and as a Zimbabwean.
Chris Muyeyi, CEO of Pamuhacha which is located thirty kilometres southeast of Harare, generously shared his wisdom on pursuing one’s purpose and also how he started out on his business.
His real-world insights provided campers with a unique perspective on entrepreneurship.

Ignite Youth Organisation is a one-stop centre for young people, offering support, career guidance and coaching. The No Limits Camp is one of their many long-term initiatives that offer positive and transformative experiences and activities to assist and encourage Zimbabwean youth.
