THE Insurance Institute of Zimbabwe (IIZ) will convene the inaugural Insurance Strategic Leadership Summit in South Africa next month, bringing together the insurance sector’s top brass for a four-day gathering.
Scheduled to take place from March 4 to 7 at the prestigious Sun City Resort, the summit promises to be a transformative experience for executives, managing directors, board members, and general managers.
It will offer a unique opportunity for networking, knowledge-sharing, and charting a new course for Zimbabwe’s insurance industry, according to the IIZ.
“Set against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving financial environment, this summit will showcase the dynamic growth of the South African insurance industry while providing invaluable insights into the strategies that have fuelled its success,” IIZ said this week.
“Participants will engage in thought-provoking discussions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities that empower them to harness these insights for the benefit of their own organisations.
“Our primary goal is to raise the penetration rate of insurance products and services in Zimbabwe, fostering a culture of inclusivity and protection that extends to all sectors of society.”
It added: “By learning from the successes of our South African counterparts, we aim to bolster the confidence of Zimbabwean executives, encouraging them to embrace innovative practices that can propel our industry into a new era of growth and sustainability.”
IIZ said the summit will serve as a catalyst for collaboration and synergy among industry leaders, enabling them to share experiences, tackle common challenges, and explore ground-breaking solutions.
