Among its many initiatives, CIFOZ's annual Golf tournaments have emerged as key events that not only promotes business networking, but also addresses critical issues facing the construction industry.

“The recent CIFOZ golf day held on the 12th of July at Royal Harare Golf Club was a resounding success, marked by seamless organization, enthusiastic participation, and a vibrant atmosphere. Among the sponsors for the golf day were Makomo Engineering, Croco Motors, Shomet Construction, First Sun Alliance, Sadacnet, Glenrise Investments and Winsten Precast.

“On the course, the competition was fierce, but friendly. Players navigated the manicured greens with varying degrees of success, each hole offering a new challenge and a chance to strategize.

“Marshals  were strategically placed throughout  the  course  to  offer  assistance and  ensure  the  smooth  flow  of  the game.

“Players showcased impressive skills and sportsmanship, with friendly banter and encouragement heard throughout the day. Various fun challenges and contests, such as Longest Drive, Nearest to-the-pin and Most Golf pair added an extra layer of excitement to the event.

“As the sun began to set, players returned to the clubhouse, buzzing with tales of triumphs and near misses. Fruitful interactions and deliberations continued in the cocktail venue as golfers, sponsors and management committee members reminisced about the day's unforgettable moments.

“We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all participants, sponsors, volunteers, and staff that made this day possible. We can't wait to tee off again next year for another unforgettable golf day. We look forward to future events with the same spirit of enthusiasm and excellence,” they said.
