POPULAR dancer Tinashe “Missy Titie” Tsotsoma, who was part of The City Vibration band, an outfit that backs Afro-contemporary musician Baba Harare has resurfaced at Zanu PF apologist Chief Shumba Hwenje’s music outfit.

Miss Titie plays the role of Mai Welly on Chief Hwenje’s song Mai Welly, a favourite of Zanu PF supporters because of its praises of President Emmerson Mnangagwa.

Miss Titie confirmed to Standard Style that she was now working with Hwenje although she was working on solo projects.

“I am back on stage with Hwenje music after a four-year break and the Independence Day gala was my first public appearance,” she said.

She said she never expected such huge support from the fans when she came on stage.

“I got a resounding welcome from fans and l did not expect that since l was off the scene for a long time, but look things are flowing again and l expect nothing, but more fire on stage,” Miss Titie said.

Missy Titie said she was also into music management after taking charge of Zimdancehall musician Lukko Chimwana Chasauro, born Tinashe Bruce Sandram.

Miss Titie was also nominated as one of the Best Helmet Queen awards in 2022.
