Zimbabwe Golf Association have donated golf kit to one of Zimbabwe Special Olympics athlete Andrew Banda in Harare on Thursday.
The gesture is try and help Banda develop his game as he eyes international participation.
Vice Chairperson of Special Olympics Zimbabwe Marian Moseni expressedgratitudetowards ZGA for promotinginclusivit.
"We are honoured by this donation that has been done by ZGA to us. Such partnerships that ensure that our thrust of inclusivity for the young people with an idea gets to be realized," she said.
"It's quiet any honor and we are humbled and hope there are other people who can also come on board. It's not just hard cash you need to donate but you can also provide kit and equipment."
She added that golf is not only for the privileged but can be taken up by those of poorer backgrounds.
ZGA is the controlling body for all male amateur golf in Zimbabwe.
